Restorations

There is an ongoing requirement for memorial and grave restoration, both in modern and older cemeteries. This can be due to subsided and cracked concrete, overgrowth from weeds and tree roots or lichen and the inscription becoming hard to read.

Fortunately most memorials are extremely long lasting. The plot is permanent and the memorial can be restored. Most memorial stones are made of granite which lasts for hundreds if not thousands of years allowing them to be restored to their original condition.

A significant part of our business is the restoration of memorials. We can reset loose stones, concrete new floors or bases, plaster and repair plots. Cleaning and repainting headstones and plaques is a big part of our restoration work, the results are excellent.
